Limassol, which has been the city of festivities since ancient times, continues to hold the title of the island’s festivity centre to this day. It is full of life, but at the same time offers all the elements for a relaxing break on the beach or a leisurely excursion for historical discoveries.
From the wedding of Richard the Lionheart and celebrations in honour of ancient goddesses, to the current celebrations of Carnival and the Wine Festival, Limassol has always attracted masses of visitors thanks to its exciting events and vibrant social life.
Its location between two great city-kingdoms of antiquity – Amathus and Kourion – give the area an important archaeological significance, while it is also a modern and diverse city with a wealth of coastal areas, plenty of options for shopping, drinking, dining and entertainment.
Limassol also has the additional advantage of being the island’s maritime capital, thanks to its major commercial and business port and modern marina, where both residents and visitors alike can enjoy sea views from one of the many facilities located on the waterfront.
Its rural areas extend towards the mountains and some of the main wine villages are located in the Limassol District. This gives the area a unique connection with its long tradition of viniculture.
Limassol offers an experience not to be missed, a journey of cultural exploration and celebration combined with sandy beaches, cristal clear water seas and picturesque mountains.
THE LEGENDARY PAPHOS

Legends of love, magnificent mosaics, inspiring archaeological sites, captivating coastlines and many other elements make up the small town of Paphos, making it extremely exciting and ready for you to explore.
Paphos, which was originally the capital of the island a few centuries ago, can now justifiably call itself the capital of culture, thanks to its important historical sights and monuments – many of which are associated with the ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty – Aphrodite. It is therefore not surprising that, due to its great wealth and ancient monuments, Kato Paphos in its entirety has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Paphos consists of the old and new town, with its harbour and Medieval Castle as its focal point. The area also has picturesque resorts, including Polis Chrysochous and the fishing port of Latchi. In the Paphos District you will find areas of stunning natural beauty, including the Akamas Peninsula and Avakas Gorge, Lara Beach (where green turtles nest) and Petra tou Romiou (birthplace of Aphrodite).
Although small in size, Paphos offers many experiences and it is a fascinating mosaic of modern tourist accommodation with many shopping and entertainment options, all woven with stories and legends steeped in antiquity and myth. That is why it was once the sanctuary of the Goddess Aphrodite, and today it is a centre for attracting visitors from all over the world.
AMMOCHOSTOS / THE GOLDEN BEACHES

The crystal clear waters and golden beaches are one of the main characteristics of Famagusta. The picturesque landscape is further enhanced by the windmills scattered everywhere. The soil of the area is particularly fertile as it is rich in minerals, which is why the area produces the most delicious and fresh goods on the island.
Consisting of the main resorts of Ayia Napa and Paralimni – Protaras, the once tiny villages have seen their popularity and boundaries expand and transform into bustling resorts that attract visitors in droves.
The area’s stunning coastline, the well-known vibrant nightlife, a wide variety of tourist accommodation, idyllic fishing ports, medieval temples and quaint traditional villages, all combine to create the perfect recipe for a fantastic holiday.
One of the most important attractions of the area is the Natural Forest Park of Kavo Gkreko with its many rocks, caves and coves. In addition to the stunning views it offers, the park is ideal for swimming, diving, boat trips, walking and cycling in a beautiful natural environment.
And without a doubt when you visit the area you will be given the opportunity to spot the difference in the superior taste of the products grown in the “red soils” of the villages of the area, also known as Kokkinohoria. Thanks to the unique rich red soil, the area is famous for its juicy watermelons, strawberries and the most delicious Cypriot potato…. since they all have an explosive taste!
Sun lovers, party fanatics, lovers of good tastes and lovers of exploration and adventure, all without exception, will fall in love with Famagusta and its charm.
